You can’t make this up.

Mountain Dew and Doritos, involved in the infamous games journalism scandal not so long ago involving Xbox 360 exclusive Halo 4 that implicated big game publishers and major figures like games personality Geoff Keighley, have now come together to promote Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox One.

The two brands will collectively make it possible for ‘thousands of gamers’ within the United States to win themselves a free Xbox One console.

“The Mountain Dew and Doritos brands are going to reward gamers in the biggest way possible this year with a variety of opportunities to get their hands on the new Xbox One,” said Microsoft’s ‘Major Nelson.’ “We’ll be sharing more details throughout the summer, but rest assured that DEW and Doritos are creating something that is truly befitting of our epic new generation hardware.”

Assuming you are interested in winning a free Xbox One unit, feel free to head over to DewsandDoritos.com and sign up for updates.
