Multiple Allegations of Toxic Work Environment Surface From Quantic Dream Studios

The studio heads are accused of awful things.

Some upsetting allegations have recently come out from Quantic Dream, the studio responsible for titles like Heavy Rain and the upcoming Detroit: Become Human. Several french publications have come forward with reports of a variety of poor behaviour from studio heads David Cage and Guillaume de Fondaumière.

The investigation was kicked off when a large folder of shocking photoshopped images of studio staff put into sexual situations, dating back to 2013 was handed to french website Canard PC. Between the publications that looked into life at Quantic Dream, several upsetting events were detailed, including Cage himself  allegedly making sexist remarks about actresses in his titles and upon reviewing CCTV footage of a burglary at the studio, asking a Tunisian staff member if the robber was related to him.

Studio co-founder Guillaume de Fondaumière has also been accused of pushing sexual advances upon female staff, sneaking more contact during the common French greeting of “air kissing” than would usually be appropriate.

The two men deny and and all such allegations, and Quantic Dream issued a statement, which you can read just below regarding the accusations. Their next title, Detroit: Become Human is due for release on PlayStation 4 sometime this spring.
