MultiVersus

The newest character for Player First Games’ MultiVersus, Gizmo from Gremlins, has suffered a slight delay. Instead of September 6th, the furry hero joins the roster tomorrow. In a new tweet, the developer outlined how Gizmo fights.

As a Support character, Gizmo can shoot arrows with his bow (which ignite when fully charged up). He also has “Song of the Mogwai” which creates musical note projectiles that injure enemies who are too close. Then there’s the most interesting ability of the bunch – Gizmo A-Go-Go.

It sees Gizmo attach to his partner’s back. While doing this, he can continue firing with his bow, cleanses allies (removing any debuffs), and takes a percentage of damage that his ally does. He can also sing, which buffs allies and inflicts Silence on opponents. It’s an interesting kit, but will it be enough for players to go 1v2 in matches? We’ll have to wait and find out.

Gizmo will be available for 2,000 Gold when he goes live tomorrow. MultiVersus is available for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S.
