MultiVersus Open Beta Begins on July 26th, New Gameplay Trailer Released

Closed alpha participants will gain early access to the open beta on July 19th. Progression and unlocks from the beta will also carry over into the future.

Player First Games has announced that the open beta for MultiVersus goes live on July 26th. The beta will be free for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC players. Early access for the same begins on July 19th, which closed alpha players getting in guaranteed.

Co-founder and game director Tony Huynh also stated that progression and unlocks from the open beta will carry over into the future. In the coming months, there will be new maps, new characters and new cosmetics. The official website is slated to have more details on open beta early access soon so stay tuned or register in the meantime.

MultiVersus is a platform fighter featuring heroes and villains from various Warner Bros. properties. These include Adventure Time’s Finn and Jake, DC Universe’s Superman, Batman, Harley Quinn and Wonder Woman, Arya Stark from Game of Thrones and many more. Modes include 2v2, 1v1 and Free-For-All with various arenas.
