Many games have tried to grab a slice of the pie that has brought Super Smash Bros. so much success over the years, but not many have succeeded. With the upcoming crossover platform fighter MultiVersus, WB Games is looking to do that as well, and players will soon have a chance to dive into its offerings to get an early idea of how it’s shaping up.

WB Games recently announced via Twitter that a second tech test of the upcoming free-to-play fighter has been set for February 25, towards the end of this week, and will last for about 10 days, until March 7. Pre-registrations for the tech test are now live, though it’s worth noting that the test will only be available to players in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and South America. What the test will have on offer in terms of content remains to be seen.

MultiVersus is due out sometime in 2022 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A specific release date for the game hasn’t yet been announced.
