MultiVersus Trailer Showcases Agent Smith Gameplay

The Matrix's Agent Smith will join the free-to-play platform fighter's roster of characters later this month.

MultiVersus finally launched in full earlier this year, and before it did, developer Player First Games and publisher WB Games had confirmed that the game would be adding The Matrix’s Agent Smith as a playable character following release. Now, ahead of his addition to the game’s roster, WB Games has released a new trailer that showcases his gameplay.

True to his portrayal in the movies, Agent Smith will take to the battlefield in MultiVersus with plenty of mobility, nimble leaps and slides, and of course, the use of his pistols, while also being able to quickly dodge incoming attacks on top of that. Oh, and did we mention he can create a clone of himself? That ought to come in pretty handy in the middle of a fight. Check out the trailer below for more.

Agent Smith will become available in the game later this month, on July 23. Players will be able to unlock him in-game, and he will also be available for purchase via microtransactions.
