My Hero Academia - Ultra Rumble

Bandai Namco has announced a closed beta test for its upcoming free-to-play battle royale game set in the My Hero Academia setting. Titled My Hero Ultra Rumble, the game is kicking off its closed beta test on PS4 from August 18 to August 21.

My Hero Ultra Rumble has been developed by BYKING—the studio behind the My Hero One’s Justice franchise—and is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

The game involves players joining one of eight 3-player teams as Heroes or Villains. Players will play as one of the characters from My Hero Academia, making use of their unique abilities—called Quirks in the setting—to battle one another, and rescue or intimidate civilians toget powerful items.

My Hero Ultra Rumble‘s closed beta is being split in two phases. Phase 1 takes place on August 17 and August 18, and phase 2 takes place from August 18 to August 21.
