Since the Xbox One’s disastrous public debut last year, Microsoft has been working hard overtime to try and win back public favor. One way they have attempted this is via strong showings of compelling exclusive software for the platform- games such as Halo, Gears of War, Fable Legends, Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome, Killer Instinct, Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, Dead Rising 3, and Quantum Break are all titles Microsoft has emphasized as part of this process.
Now another might be coming up soon- Microsoft has has filed a trademark application for a new game called ‘Secrets and Treasure.’ We know that it is a game, because Microsoft has in fact filed it as ‘game software,’ but we literally don’t know anything else about it. It could be a big new exclusive for the Xbox One; it could be a smaller, digital only game. It could be for the Windows 8 store. Or it could be for the Windows Phone platform. We simply do not know.
