Namco’s ex-CEO Kenji Hisatsune now at Square Enix

Posted By | On 05th, May. 2012

Guess who is the Vice President of Global Mobile Content at Square Enix? None other than, Kenji Hisatsune!

Okay, you probably don’t know him, but what’s interesting is Square’s push on the mobile front. Recently Square Enix had announced its plans for game developers in India and also a contest worth 20 lakhs.

Now why am I talking about Indian game development scene? First, he’s the VP of Global Mobile Content and the demand for devs from India is growing as well — couldn’t really be a co-incidence, could it?

“His appointment will strengthen North America’s crucial role in the fast-growing mobile space,” said Square Enix CEO Mike Fischer.

“His knowledge of the industry, regional and national sales background and excellent partner relations will be key assets in expanding our presence in this region.”
