Naughty Dog Dev Confirms New Game, Will Possibly Have Engaging Third-Person Action

But the big question remains. Is it The Last of Us 2 or a new IP?

Uncharted4-11

If you are expecting that the team at Naughty Dog are simply resting and taking a few weeks off from work after their stellar work with Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, then you are wrong. Naughty Dog’s lead game designer, Emilia Schatz has confirmed that they have already started working in an unknown capacity on their next project.

Schatz is looking for someone who has experience in art and modeling for Naughty Dog’s next title. Furthermore Schatz has already approached Cindy To who seems to be a combat and level designer which may indicate that Naughty Dog are already hiring people for the new project. We currently don’t have any information about what this new game is (heavily rumored as The Last of Us 2) but Schatz also shared a link to the job listing’s page which specifically mentions that they are recruiting a designer for Single Player for a game that will be have emotionally engaging third-person action gameplay and levels.

It will be interesting to see how Naughty Dog’s next project will shape up. Perhaps Sony will reveal it at this year’s E3. We will keep you updated as this builds.
