With all the controversy occurring regarding the golden standard of visuals on consoles – namely 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second – executive VP of Visual Concepts Jeff Thomas has confirmed to IGN that the upcoming next-gen version of NBA 2K14 would run at native 1080p and 60 frames per second. Yes, that’s for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

NBA 2K14 has plenty of new features and is a fairly strong release in terms of gameplay and presentation. You can read more about the game in our official review here and you can also check out how the game looks on next gen consoles here. Considering the lack of hype surrounding the next-gen version of NBA 2K14, it looks remarkably good.

NBA 2K14 will be releasing on November 15th in North America and November 29th in Europe for the PlayStation 4. It will release for Xbox One on November 22nd across 13 territories worldwide. Stay tuned for more details.
