NBA 2K18

If you need an excuse to check out Visual Concepts’ NBA 2K18, the latest addition in the company’s yearly basketball franchise, then there’s The Prelude. It’s essentially a demo that’s available now for the Xbox One and PS4 that provides a taste of MyCareer mode.

The Prelude will also offer a look at the Neighborhoods, which functions as the player’s central hub of sorts between different modes. You can change your appearance, interact with other players, indulge in some side activities and so on. Progress made in The Prelude will also carry over into the full game should you decide to pick it up.

NBA 2K18 is out on September 19th for Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Switch and PC. Pre-ordering will grant you access on September 15th though. Along with changes to MyCareer and MyTeam mode, there’s The Road to 99 meta-game, updates to Create A Player, challenges and much more to look forward to this year.
