NBA 2K23_01

NBA 2K22 generated its fair share of controversy for changing the shot timing that players knew and loved. As a result, NBA 2K23 provides multiple different settings for shot timing. Here’s how to modify them to your liking.

First, go to the Features tab on the Home screen and choose Controller Settings. You’ll eventually come across various options for Shot Timing, including Shots Only, Layups Only, Real Player Percentage, and Shots and Layups. You can also modify the Shot Timing Release Time from Very Early to Very Late. Free Throw Timing is also adjustable – just search for the option in the Controller settings, and you can choose User Timing or Real Player Percentage.

How to Fast Travel in The City

Though The City in NBA 2K23 is smaller than last year’s iteration, it’s still good to have Fast Travel for instantly warping between locations. That’s where the fast-travel train station comes in. By pressing RB/R1, you can find one close to your character and navigate to it. These stations look like subway stations and act as spawn locations whenever you enter the game.

Here are all the different fast travel stations in the game:

  • East Mall Station
  • The Block
  • North Station
  • Knights Station
  • West Mall Station
  • Arena/One City Plaza
  • Wildcats Station
  • Event Center
  • Beasts Station
  • Vipers Station

NBA 2K23 is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Check out our review here for more details.
