NEO: The World Ends With You Has Been Rated In Australia

Could the long awaited sequel be closer than expected?

NEO The World Ends With You

The World Ends with You released in 2007 and was an incredibly stylish and unique RPG that used the dual scenes of the Nintendo DS in a wholly original and unique way. For years, it felt like Square teased fans with a potential sequel until finally, after nearly 15 years, NEO: The World Ends with You was announced. We don’t know a whole lot about the sequel just yet, but it does seem like it’s already getting rated.

A rating for the game popped up on the Australian Classification Board, which you can see through here. It will be rated Mature there for coarse language and mature themes. Unlike other rating boards, there is no description of the game to go along with the rating.

NEO: The World Ends with You is set to release sometime this year for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Generally, when ratings begin coming out that is an indication that the release is not far off. Though, of course, that isn’t always the case, either. Hopefully, we’ll get some more official information soon.
