New Bravely Default Trailer Is Old School

Take all my money, Square Enix.

Bravely Default, the Nintendo 3DS exclusive, lovely looking old school JRPG being developed by Square Enix, is, against all odds, finally seeing a western release, with a European release next month, and an American release following shortly after next year. To drum up some hype for the title, Nintendo has given us another trailer for it, showcasing its lovely art style, it’s old school Final Fantasy story, and its great classic JRPG gameplay.

Seriously- for everyone who thought classic Final Fantasy was dead (and Square Enix have done their very best to drive it into the ground in recent years) should be heartened upon seeing this trailer. It’s everything you remember being good from classic Final Fantasy games, and more.

Bravely Default releases next month in Europe on the Nintendo 3DS. Its western publication and development is being handled by Nintendo; the western release of the game will be based off of the expanded release that Japan gets next month. Stay tuned for more coverage.
