Ever since Dying Light: The Following was announced, there has been quite a bit of excitement about what this new content is going to be bringing to one of the surprise hits of 2015. Among the brand new content that will be coming is a new gameplay element called customizable buggies. A new video shows off just how this particular mode is going to be working.

The game’s Producer Tymon Smektała revealed more details about Dying Light: The Following and this particular mode. “Your buggy is going to be crucial to surviving out in the open, so we want to create an emotional connection between players and their ride. On top of the lethal weapons and upgrades you’ll be able to add, there are a lot of cool paint jobs, a number of unmistakable bobble heads and little charms to put inside, so you can really make the buggy your own,” Tymon said.

In particular, some of those upgrades are going to be paintjobs like having flames on the side of your buggy. You can also strap a flamethrower to the buggy. In total, there are 40 different paint jobs you can customize your buggy with as you race around the world map killing as many zombies as you can during the day and trying to escape from as many as you can at night. Dying Light: The Following is due to launch on the PS4, Xbox One and PC on February 9, 2016 almost exactly a year after the original game launched.
