Everything is leaking ahead of E3- now, a game called ‘Northwoods’ may have potentially leaked ahead of its intended time. The source of the leak? The same as the source of the Halo Wars 2 open beta leak- the Xbox Marketplace itself.
A Reddit user has just stumbled upon what might potentially be a new unannounced IP from Activision. According to the description of the game, it sounds like it might be a psychological horror game- something completely unlike what one might expect from Activision, and something that sounds surprisingly awesome.
“Tired. Cold. Alone. Surrounded by sounds of the unknown. Through the tree line you hear them coming, hunting. Do you have what it takes to survive, or will you descend into madness? Welcome to the frozen desolation of Northwoods.”
Whatever it is, I hope it is announced at E3 this year- the description sounds pretty cool. Admittedly a lot of indie games of a similar vein (if I am interpreting it right) do exist- but it will be interesting to see a AAA take on the concept.
