The newest video that you see above describes a host of changes inbound for the free to play action game, Hawken, currently still in open beta. The patch, numbered 0.9.4 and formally titled ‘Ascension,’ adds a host of new improvements to the title that promise to completely revamp the experience.

Of the changes promised with the new patch are new HUDs, completely revamped and redone for every single mech unit in the game, a new map called Last Eco, which supports all existing Hawken game modes, a Mech Rank system which adds the ability to gain EXP for, and level up your mechs, enabling you to unlock parts and weapons for it, and to unlock a new mech once your existing one is leveled up. Along with this you also get the EXP Overflow system, which lets you play with a maxxed out mech and gain experience, which you can then use on other, lower leveled mechs.

There are also a host of other improvements, including a Pilot Rank system, a new Slot System, and much, much more. Check out the video above and see for yourself.
