New Pokemon Game to be announced next month

Posted By | On 14th, Dec. 2011

It’s been 9 months since the last Pokemon games, Pokemon Black/White were released, and already, Nintendo is gearing up for another big Pokemon announcement.

The next issue of CoroCoro magazine, which has revealed every major Pokemon game till date, will be revealing the next game in the series, Serebii reports. The issue goes on sale on January 14. The news could obviously be leaked before the game is officially revealed, though.

Of course, it’s not been long since the last major release in this long running series, so we don’t expect this to be a fully fledged Pokemon Generation 6 game. We’re guessing it’s going to be Pokemon Grey, the expansion game to Black and White. Every generation of Pokemon has had a belated third release- Yellow, Crystal, Emerald and Platinum.

We wrote an article some time ago in which we talked about the ten things we wanted to see in the next Pokemon game. Read the article here.
