The next Pokemon GO  event is set to kick off soon today. This event will allows player some benefits and goodies should they choose to play during this time. The event kicks off at 1 p.m. PDT and will go on for a full day from then on.

This event grants you a chance to get hold of certain rare Pokemon. This time around, there’s a greater variety of Pokemon to be found inside the 2 km eggs, including Pokemon that usually hatch only from 5 km and 10 km eggs. Additionally, the hatch rate of some Pokemon such as Pichu and Togepi will be increased during the duration of this event.

That’s not all however, as each egg hatched during this event will carry Candy and Stardust. Finally, some special boxes will be available in the in-game store which caryy Super Incubators and Star Pieces. This might be just the incentive  needed for some players to hop back into the game so as to try and catch them all!
