New Shadow Warrior Trailer Challenges You To ‘Choose Your Weapon’

Reimagining of classic shooter coming to Steam later this month.

PC players who were around in the Golden Age of PC gaming (and who have long memories) probably remember 3D Realm’s Shadow Warrior, a first person shooter in the ilk of Duke Nukem 3D, Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Quake, and numerous others that were making the rounds back then. Now, Flying Wild Hog is carefully trying to restore the beloved classic and release it on Steam in an ultimate enhanced edition.

The trailer above is an ‘interactive trailer,’ that asks the players to choose a weapon (either a gun or a blade), and then proceeds to show you monsters and people being brutally killed in all sorts of ways using the weapons of your choice. Even though the graphics are, ultimately, 90s standard, it doesn’t leave a whole lot to the imagination on that front, to be honest.

Shadow Warrior hits Steam on September 25 for £29.99. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage of the title.
