New Trailer For Detroit: Become Human Focuses On The City Itself

David Cage on why Detroit is the right setting for the game.

The next title from the mind of David Cage, Detroit: Become Human, is hitting the PlayStation 4 in just over a week, unleashing all the emotions and polygons that PS4 movie watchers can handle. A new trailer has just been released for the game, featuring what Cage himself considers the fourth protagonist of the game, the city of Detroit itself.

The very short clip has Cage discussing the vision behind the setting, how the history of Detroit made it a fitting setting for the game about social upheaval, and how much effort was given to making the setting grounded while also introducing androids into it, by considering how they could impact society.

While the development cycle of Detroit: Become Human wasn’t without its challenges, the first title from Quantic Dream designed for the PS4 will hit exclusively for the system on May 25, 2018. Are you going to check the game out? Let us know in the comments below.
