According to a CV posted by a former SCEE employee, a unannounced Wipeout project is under works for the PlayStation 3. Martin Linklater now works with Bizarre Creations since the layoffs at Studio Liverpool. His profile at linkedin states that:
“Unannounced Project – Technical Director. Responsible for technical strategy, code evaluation, code architecture, build system, programmer recruitment, appraisals and training. Part of the ‘Product Owner Group’ responsible for setting deliverables and monitoring progress.”
His profile also tells us that Sony are working on an unannounced Wipeout project for PS3m, which will be based on the physics and collision system of wipEout Pure for the PSP.
