Xbox has recently announced a brand new stereo headset for the Xbox family of devices, which is launching in September this year. In a recent Xbox Wire post, the Redmond-based giant revealed that the headset will cost around $59.99 worldwide.

This is a collaborative effort from Xbox and audio makers Bang and Olufsen, and it’s directly aimed at fans on a tight budget. A point worth noting here is that unlike the Xbox Wireless Headset, this stereo headset is wired. the Xbox Stereo Headset supports a litany of audio technologies such as Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos.

Pre-orders for the headset are now live, and interested fans can check it out through here. In addition to providing flexibility of choice in terms of official audio accessories, Xbox is relaunching the Xbox Design Lab program – which allows fans to fully customize their controller from a number of color options.
