Assassin’s Creed: Unity was one of the stand-out games at this year’s E3 but we already knew of its existence before the conference. It was the expectation that Ubisoft would also reveal its Xbox 360 and PS3 exclusive Assassin’s Creed title that had us waiting with baited breath. Long story short, Assassin’s Creed: Comet – as it’s codenamed – wasn’t showcased.

However, while speaking to investors during the release of its latest financials, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said that with regards to a previous gen release, “We said that we were going to give more info soon on that, and it will come soon.”

Assassin’s Creed: Unity is due to release in October for Xbox One, PS4 and PC so it’s likely that the previous gen title is pushed into 2015. Comet will apparently see you playing as a Templar and at this point, there’s no other information about the game. What are your thoughts on its release? Let us know below.
