The wait is over, as we finally get a look at the gameplay behind EA Canada’s NHL ’13, the latest in Electronic Arts’ vaunted sports series.
Gameplay producer Ben Ross walks us through the first level of the game, facing off against the AI at default skill level. Movement appears smooth and fluent, with accessible yet nuanced gameplay. A fair degree of skill is expected at this level, but nothing too overwhelming – which should be good news for both the hardcore and casual crowds.
NHL ’13 releases this September for PS3 and XBox 360.
