EA Access members can now play NHL 16, the next big iteration in the EA Sports hockey franchise, about five days early.
This is the full game but you don’t get unlimited playtime. Instead, the EA Access version features a 10 hour trial where you’re invited to progress as far as you’d like within the time limit. Progress will carry forward into the main game if you purchase it, whether through digital or physical means, after the trial finishes.
As now, this is exclusive to Xbox One players who will also receive a 10 percent discount on NHL 16. If you’re looking to play the game on Xbox One and have EA Access, then this is a pretty good incentive to try it before release.
NHL 16 is set to release on September 15th for Xbox One, PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360. Will you be picking up the game or playing it early? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned for more information.
