For those of you who’re looking for more Ni no Kuni 2 content (not that there’s a lack of it in the base game as it is), Bandai Namco have some good news for you. The Adventure Pack DLC is out now for the game, bringing with it plenty of new content for players to sink their teeth into, and best of all, it’s free.

Adventure Pack adds several new things to Ni no Kuni 2, such as new items, new costumes, new new challenges, new floors to the Faraway Forest Cave- but most importantly, it adds a new story. This new story – which spans “the entire world” as per the DLC’s launch trailer (which you can view below) – will see players “take on the demons of anguish and save Ni no Kuni from disaster”.

What’s more, it also looks like there’s going to be at least a couple of new, epic boss fights in the DLC- you can actually catch glimpses of these in the trailer, so be sure to take a look. The Adventure Pack DLC is available for free now if you own Ni no Kuni 2 on PS4 or PC. Another new update was recently added to the game, which introduced new difficulty settings. You can read our review of the base game here.
