Level-5’s Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is a pretty good looking game, especially with its faux cel-shaded visuals and stellar animation. As much as we’ve seen of the combat and characters, there’s still a lot to see of the game’s environments. Fortunately, the developer has released a new video showcasing Goldpaw, arguably the most visually striking city in the game yet.

Goldpaw embodies a very nice aesthetic as evidenced by the architecture, decorations and monuments. It’s also sufficiently buzzing at nighttime, which makes us wonder how this will play into protagonist Evan’s endeavour to rebuild his kingdom after a coup. It won’t be long before we find out.

Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom releases on March 13th for PS4 and PC. Though originally slated to release last year but was delayed to January 2018. It faced another delay to allow the developer to further polish modes like Kingdom Building and Skirmish.
