The latest Famitsu review scores are out and with big titles coming up like Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom and Valkyria Chronicles 4, it’s time to see what the Japanese publication thought of them. First off, Level-5 fans will be happy to know that Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom was given a 38 out of 40 for the PS4 version.

Considering the number of delays and work that’s been put into the game, that’s good news for the developer as well. Valkyria Chronicles 4 received a 35 out of 40 for the PS4 version. The sequel marks a return to the tactical turn-based strategy that the series is known for.

Though most may take Famitsu reviews with a grain of salt, there’s still cause for hope given the direction of both games. Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom is out on March 23rd worldwide. Valkyria Chronicles 4 launches on March 21st 2018 in Japan and later this year for North America and Europe.
