Worried that NieR: Automata won’t be for you? To cater to less twitchy players, Platinum Games is adding an auto mode of sorts to the game.

As Siliconera reports, auto mode will allow the AI to fight for you. It’s possible to set the AI to perform attacks, only evade and so on. You can switch between auto and normal mode as you see fit and the only thing that really requires input is weapon upgrading. It’s a like a clicker game but with better graphics. Sort of.

Auto mode can only be enabled during the easiest difficulty but since difficulties can be changed midway, it’s not a bad idea to lower the difficulty, switch to auto mode and try to learn an enemy’s patterns better.

NieR: Automata will be out on February 23rd 2017 in Japan for PS4 and PC. The worldwide release is currently set for 2017 so stay tuned for more information.
