Just what might this be?

Ninja Theory may not have met commercial success yet, but all three of their games- Heavenly Sword for the PlayStation 3, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and last year’s DmC: Devil May Cry reboot of the classic long running action franchise in collaboration with Capcom, have been great, competent action games. So when Ninja Theory teases that it may be about to reveal its next game project soon, there’s an inclination to sit up and take notice.

Especially since it’s interesting to consider just what this new gam might be. A new Heavenly Sword or Enslaved are unlikely, but could this just be a new Devil May Cry game, pursuing the direction initiated by last year’s reboot further? Or could it be an entirely new IP instead?

No matter what it is, it’s going to be a fun game if their previous output is any indication. And judging b the timeframe being teased, it will be announced at Gamescom this year. Stay tuned.
