Nintendo Adds PayPal Payment Option For Digital Games

Additionally, you can use their web store to purchase Wii U and 3DS games digitally via PayPal, too.

If you still feel unsafe trusting your credit card information to online retailers and vendors, then Nintendo has made it easier for you to be able to buy digital games from them regardless. They have gone ahead and added a PayPal payment option for digital games on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

Not only that, but Nintendo has also added a PayPal payment option to their web store for digital games-this part is especially important, because it means that, in a roundabout way, you can now buy Wii U and 3DS digital games via PayPal, too (the 3DS and Wii U eShops don’t allow PayPal payment options, which means this would be the only way). The feature has now been rolled out worldwide.

So- if you don’t trust your credit card information with online vendors and merchants, this option is for you. It’s come just in time, too- since Nintendo is getting ready to roll out a subscription service next year.
