A week after hosting a Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, the company has confirmed an Indie World Showcase for August 7th at 6 AM PT. It will offer “roughly” 15 minutes of announcements and updates for Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 indie titles.
Obviously, and you knew this was coming, this could mean a new trailer for Hollow Knight: Silksong, perhaps hyping the upcoming demo at Gamescom. Supergiant Games could also provide an update on the launch of Hades 2 for both platforms (and maybe a date for Version 1.0). Maybe Enter the Gungeon 2 will appear, even if it’s launching in 2026.
Other notable titles that may receive new trailers include Human Fall Flat 2, Marvel Cosmic Invasion, Maseylia: Echoes of the Past, and more. Stay tuned for more details and live coverage.
Whether you’re playing on Nintendo Switch 1 or 2, there are plenty of big-budget exclusives to look forward to as well, including Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Pokémon Legends: Z-A. The former is slated for this year, while the latter arrives on October 16th.
