Nintendo Switch 2 Launches in June, Pre-Orders Going Live April 9 – Rumour

Nintendo is set to fully unveil the long-awaited console with an imminent Switch 2 Direct next week, on April 2.

Full details on the Nintendo Switch 2 are set to be revealed at the upcoming April 2 Nintendo Direct, but ahead of time, it seems like details about its launch have potentially emerged.

As per a report published by Insider Gaming, the Nintendo Switch 2 is going to release sometime in June, as recent reports have suggested, with pre-orders set to go live on April 9. This is as per internal documents and emails from “large” US retailer, as per the report, which also claims that retails are expecting the long-awaited console to sell out on the first day that pre-orders go live, in spite of Nintendo’s efforts to have large amounts of stock available right out the gate.

Allegedly, a webpage with a “pre-orders coming soon” message will allegedly go live after the aforementioned Direct on April 2, with a countdown attached that will end on April 9. Those who pre-order the console will seemingly also get an exclusive collectible coin of some sort. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
