The Nintendo Switch 2 is doing things similar to its predecessor in a number of ways, with how physical media will be handled also being on that list. The upcoming console will, for instance, continue to use cartridges for physical games, and we now also have a closer look at what the cases for physical games will look like.
Twitter user @Genki_JPN recently shared new images of Nintendo Switch 2 physical game cases, which are going to be the exact same size as the Switch 1’s physical game cases- the only difference being that as opposed to the Switch 1’s transparent cases, the Switch 2’s game cases will be red. Meanwhile, a couple of images also showcase the insides of a game case, which also won’t be that much different from the Switch 1. Check out the images below.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch worldwide on June 5.
