With the Nintendo Switch 2 launching on June 5th, Nintendo has released a new overview trailer for Welcome Tour. Akin to Astro’s Playroom for the PS5 (but paid instead of free), it allows players to explore a virtual exhibit and learn more about the Switch 2’s functions.

There are 12 locations in total, and minigames are built around various features. For example, you can use the mouse to guide a UFO to avoid falling spike balls for as long as possible, take a quiz to guess the frame rate of videos and more. Completing minigames unlocks Medals used to unlock new minigames.

Players can also uncover various secrets about the console, like its screen, the back of the dock, and more (including the meaning of the gap between the console and its Joy-Cons). Learn all the secrets, and you can attempt a quiz to test your knowledge. As you explore the exhibit, you can collect Stamps to unlock access to further areas, including inside the console.

Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour launches alongside the console on day one for $10. Check out our feature for more details.
