Leading US games retailer GameStop has announced that all of its stock for the Nintendo Switch has been sold through. This happened just a few hours after Nintendo’s big presentation for Switch on January 13th.

GameStop merchandising VP Bob Puzon stated that, “The fact that this initial allotment has been completely reserved in a matter of a few days demonstrates gamers’ desire for this fun and revolutionary gaming system.”

In case you think that means shortages, then Puzon also said that the retailer is “working closely” with Nintendo for more Switch units to be available. When this will be available remains to be announced.

Thankfully, there are still 16 Switch games still available to pre-order with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe included. Additional Joy-Con controllers and carrying cases for the Switch are also still in stock.

The Nintendo Switch is out on March 3rd and retails for $299. Have you pre-ordered your own unit? Let us know below.
