Nintendo has released a new video detailing a new feature coming to Nintendo Switch players. The feature, titled Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers, is exclusively available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
As part of the feature, players can purchase two game vouchers for the Nintendo Switch, priced at a total of $99.98. These vouchers can then be redeemed for games in a special catalog.
Essentially, the new vouchers will allow Nintendo Switch Online subscribers to purchase games at slightly discounted prices, from the usual $59.99 price per game down to around $49.99.
While Nintendo hasn’t yet revealed a complete list of games that will be available in the Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers catalog, examples in the video include Splatoon 3, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Pokemon Scarlet, and Pokemon Violet. It seems that the catalog will, at least launch, include first-party Nintendo games.
Game Vouchers will only be valid for a year after purchase.
