Nintendo Switch Gets A Series Of New Commercials For The Holiday Season in Japan

Showing off the system's appeal.

Posted By | On 29th, Nov. 2017

The Nintendo Switch is already utterly dominating all other systems in Japan, including the PS4 and the Nintendo 3DS; however, it looks like Nintendo is gearing up to make sure that other systems don’t even stand a chance, because they have released a series of new commercials for the hybrid to ensure the word about it gets out there.

The commercials showcase the unique versatility and flexibility of the Nintendo Switch, showing off how it can be played as a console and as a portable, and how it lends itself to spontaneous local multiplayer (which is a big deal in Japan) as well. You can check them out for yourself below.

The Nintendo Switch has been the highest selling system in Japan for all but a few weeks in Japan ever since it originally launched; it will be interesting to see how much these commercials, alongside the release of high profile games like the upcoming Xenoblade 2, do to push its sales even higher.
