Nintendo Switch To Get Super Smash Bros. Port, But Not At Launch- Report

Can you believe something like this might be happening?

Super Smash Bros

It looks like Nintendo will be bringing over Super Smash Bros. to their new, upcoming Nintendo Switch system. Laura Kate Dale of Let’s Play Video Games, who has so far had an excellent track record with leaking details about Nintendo’s upcoming hybrid system, has confirmed that a port of the excellent Super Smash Bros. game is indeed in the works for Nintendo’s upcoming platform.

Dale confirmed that the port would launch alongside the final, remaining Super Smash Bros. series Amiibos, including Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7, and Bayonetta. She also confirmed that the game is not going to be a Switch launch title, and that Nintendo instead intends to launch it within the first six months of the system’s launch- meaning we should probably expect it to be out by September.

If this is true, then the Switch will have a rather great game very soon- and it will not have to wait as long for a Smash Bros. game as the Wii, 3DS, and Wii U had to, which went 2-3 years after launch without an entry in the perennially popular Nintendo series.
