Nintendo’s Project Giant Robot Releases in First Half of 2015

Shigeru Miyamoto's next game out by June end?

In its recent earnings report, Nintendo has revealed that Shigeru Miyamoto’s Project Giant Robot will be out in the “first half of 2015” for North America and Europe. Ponder this for a moment.

Project Giant Robot and Project Guard were teased at last year’s E3 along with a new Star Fox for the Wii U. Not much information was offered aside from a 2015 release but if Project Giant Robot was to release in the first half of this year, it would theoretically need to come out by June end.

It’s not impossible, considering E3 2015 will take place from June 16th to 18th (with several companies hosting their own press conferences prior to this). Nintendo could talk about the game during its Direct presentation and release it shortly afterwards. This would indicate a digital download release rather than a full-fledged commercial release so we’ll need to wait for more information to be sure.
