After two demos and various videos, it’s almost time to jump into the much anticipated action RPG, Nioh 2. The sequel will once again see you fighting your way through a mix of mythical and historical feudal Japan, battling yokai and all manners of evil. It’ll have single and multiplayer modes, promising a lot of content in the base game, not to mention all the planned DLC campaigns. Now, though, we’ll get a peek behind the scenes of its development with a new documentary.
As announced via their official Twitter, Archipel will release a new documentary that is focused on the last months of the game’s production. They say it will have talks with various members of the development team, including director and producer Fumihiko Yasuda.
If you’re unfamiliar with the channel, they focus on documentary content on various Japanese media and have released some pretty interesting material. This will be good to get some insight in, a day before the official Nioh 2 release on the 13th.
A documentary will be released Thursday, 8 pm PST about Nioh 2, centered around conversations with director/producer Fumihiko Yasuda (also director on the first game) and team members during the last months of production – a collaboration we made with a local gaming media. pic.twitter.com/2VN8KNpK9N
