Nioh 2 will kick off the next year with a mix of Japanese mythology and RPG action that the first game surprised everyone with. There will be a lot of new and familiar things here, such as the game’s great combat. Along with that will come new Yokai to fight against as well as new Japanese inspired locales to fight through.

First up, we see a new Yokai. He moves like the wind at such a speed that it feels like being sliced by a blade. If you defeat it during the beta you will get a Demon’s Proof, something that will unlock a special item in the final game. You’ll be playing the beta on the new Sunomata Castle. You can see both below through the official Twitter (thanks to Twinfinite for translations).

Nioh 2 will see a beta run from November 1st to the 10th. The final version of the game will release sometime early in 2020 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
