Nioh 3

After prematurely leaking ahead of State of Play, Koei Tecmo officially announced that Nioh 3 will launch on February 6th, 2026, for PS5 and PC. Check out the latest story trailer below, which sees various figures battling over the honor of becoming Shogun.

One such individual is Tokugawa Takechiyo, who players can customize in their endeavor. While dealing with other competitors would be problematic enough, players must also battle all kinds of yokai, including the likes of Takeda Shingen. You can watch that boss fight here.

With new open field levels and the ability to seamlessly switch between close-range melee combat and long-range ninjutsu, Nioh 3 is a fairly big step forward for the series. Many of the same weapon types carry over, and you can harness the power of Divine Beasts as before. Stay tuned for more details from Tokyo Game Show this week as Team Ninja showcases the title in a special stage event.
