While the PS4 exclusive Nioh is just a few weeks away from its full release, there’s still plenty we don’t yet know about the game. Included in those things we don’t know enough about is the history behind the story of the game.

The developers of the title are trying to remedy that with the release of a brand new trailer that shows some of the backstory in the game. In particular, this new cinematic animated trailer shows the history of the battle of Sekigahara.

This means the video will show people just how the hero of the story comes to end up on his path as he fights the creatures and monsters that are all over the land of Nioh. After you watch this new trailer, hurry up and play the last chance demo. Then get ready because Nioh is releasing for the PS4 exlcusively on February 9, 2017.
