No Man’s Sky Dev Apologizes for Issues, Working on Resolving Bugs ASAP

Expect a patch in the "near future".

The PC version of No Man’s Sky is out now and there are a number of issues (unsurprisingly) but for PS4 players still facing bugs and crashes, creator Sean Murray noted in a blog post that Hello Games is “working to resolve [them] as soon as possible.”

A new QA team that dwarfs the development team in size has been hired in addition to QA from Sony (which published the PS4 version). “Most critical issues” are being worked on as well and players can expect a patch in the “near future” to help fix things.

The play length for each player on average has turned out to be “far more” than the team anticipated and while Hello Games is a small developer, it’s “working quickly to adapt” to the demands of its player base. A ticket support system is also being implemented and players facing issues can head to the Sony forums or reach out to the developer itself in the meantime.

“We sincerely apologize to anyone affected in the meantime,” Murray noted.
