No Rest for the Wicked Hotfix Adjusts Chest Loot Rates, Prevents Bounty and Challenge Deletion

Players can now abandon Bounties and Challenges without deleting them. The latest hotfix also fixes a GPU culling leak.

Moon Studios’ action RPG No Rest for the Wicked, currently in Steam Early Access, has received a new hotfix. Hotfix 4 offers one performance improvement, fixing a GPU culling leak, but adjusts several gameplay features. One of the most important is that Bounties and Challenges will no longer be deleted if you abandon them, which is excellent news.

Furthermore, a confirmation now pops up if you want to abandon a Challenge. As for other changes, Damage on Parry enhancements and drop rates from loot chests have been adjusted, while Whittacker’s Shop has more furniture to outfit your home.

Bug fixes include the cranes in Nameless Pass not rotating and incorrect levels for some vendor items. The Mariner’s Keep Tower area should also see improved collision. Check out the full hotfix notes below.

No Rest for the Wicked is available on PC, with Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions in the works.

Patch Notes – Early Access Hotfix 4

Performance Improvements:

  • Fixed a leak with GPU Culling

Bounties and Challenges Changes:

  • Bounties and Challenges are no longer deleted if you choose to abandon them
  • Added confirmation when choosing to abandon Challenges

Balance Changes:

  • Adjusted Damage On Parry enchantments

Loot Changes:

  • Adjusted loot drop rates from chests
  • Added more furniture to Whittacker’s Shop

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed Nameless Pass cranes still not rotating correctly in some existing realms (their position will now reset to default)
  • Fixed sell value on Raw and Refined materials at vendors still being only ¼ of what they should be
  • Fix for the Channel rune icon not showing up when player has no Focus
  • Fixed Focus Gain On Hit enchantment text displaying a larger Focus number
  • Fixed incorrect levels for some items at vendors
  • Improved collision at Mariner’s Keep Tower area
  • Fixed typo in interaction hint for Eleanor’s door
