Nobody Saves the World

Releasing next year for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC, Nobody Saves the World is a new rogue-lite from DrinkBox Studios, the developer behind Guacamelee. The central premise sees you as Nobody as a calamity looms on the horizon. However, you’re capable of taking on different forms, each with their own unique abilities to fight back.

But that’s not all – you can also mix and match abilities from different forms. In a new video by IGN, lead designer Ian Campbell notes the amount of customization that’s possible. For instance, you may take the Monk form for its durability and knockback attack but it lacks in damage. If you take the Zombite ability and use it on foes, they’ll transform into zombies and can assist you.

They can also become more durable by taking on Blood Pact, which heals all Familiars for 200 percent of all damage dealt, or provide you a damage buff with Blood Sacrifice, which sacrifices the lowest health Familiar for two Attack Up buffs. These are just some of the possibilities that players can mess with when Nobody Saves the World launches. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
