Nvidia has announced that they will be holding its own, extravagant, 24 hour long game event that they will be hosting on September 18. Of course, gaming events held by major gaming hardware manufacturers aren’t exactly rare or unheard of, and Nvidia, which holds the key to some quality PC gaming, being, as they are, the leading manufacturers of top GPUs, have certainly been known in the past to host some truly spectacular events.

But this upcoming one promises to be something special. You see, this is the event that we anticipate that Nvidia will finally announce Geforce GTX 980 and Geforce GTX 970, meaning we might be seeing us finally making the full jump to Maxwell.

Of course, we still don’t quite know exactly how this event will be (especially because, apparently, the event will be streamed 24 hours non stop), but hey, new hardware being announced is always a big deal. And maybe if we are lucky, some high profile PC games may also be shown off/announced at this event, right?
